My severe lower back pain began about 22 years ago. For as long as I could, I attempted to ignore the pain. My physician gave me Motrin and for many months I was taking MEGA doses of pain killer. I lived for many years with pain. I tried massage therapy-(some temporary relief). I tried acupuncture- (no relief), even SURGERY to relieve pressure on my sciatic nerve and trim a severely herniated disc. I am in my second year of treatment and I have no pain in my lower back! When I first started coming I was having headaches. I had ran into a car September 2006. I also felt like I couldn’t turn my head as freely. I was very tense in my mid-upper back. After the very first adjustment, my headaches were minimized a lot. After 3 months of adjustments, I feel much better. I have more flexibility in my neck. I did have a little bit of hard time breaking my habit of sleeping on my stomach, as I learned this wasn’t good for me. I am an RN. I didn’t go to an MD for this because I know what goes on. I didn’t want narcotics for headaches. I came here because I happened to see an ad in the newspaper. First set of x-rays were a shock to me. I didn’t realize I was out of alignment as much as I was. As Cory’s 4th birthday approaches, I cannot help but realize that you entered his life at such a critical time. I thank the Lord that he has led us to you! Cory’s development in the last 12 months has been explosive and incredible. From garbled speech to clear speech, that is age appropriate. From Autistic symptoms to being very low on the spectrum-if at all! Cory’s speech therapist says that he is all caught up and now speaks at a 4 year old level! This will probably be his last group of sessions he will need! I know that the Lord sent us to you at just the right time, and thank you doesn’t seem to express all that I want to say.
